About the role
Based in the U.S., as our part-time, work from home, U.S. qualified Bookkeeper / Accountant, you’ll be working closely with our firm’s COO to ensure our financial administration processes are second to none using the latest accounting software, AI invoice processing systems, and other related Fintech and Proptech to streamline our processes and to ensure maximum accuracy and record keeping.
What you will be doing

Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts for a Delaware registered Blocker Co.

Rental income reconciliation against leases.

Periodic tax administration.

CPI rental increase calculations and liaison with tenant-side accounting departments.

Rental arrears management.
-
Support with on-boarding of new property acquisitions.

Production of management accounts and key portfolio metrics.

Input of key data into our client reporting/ portfolio management system.
You have the following
Minimum Requirements

Minimum bachelor’s degree in either economics, accounting, real estate or related field.

CPA and/or CPB is preferred.

10 years+ solid, real-world bookkeeping and accounting experience ideally within the U.S. real estate sector.

Proficient in QuickBooks Online and/or Sage and therein various workflows including A/R, A/P, payroll, sales tax, financial reporting, 3rd party apps integration, and banking functions to name a few.

Strong data and analytical skills.

Good at following documented processes and workflows.

Must have (or be willing to obtain) a high-speed internet connection.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills with good general IT savviness.
- Ability to self-perform, with strong time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines.
- Comfortable with virtual collaboration with colleagues in multiple locations.
- Self-disciplined with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to deliver and interpret financial information and synthesize it into meaningful management accounts and client reporting.
- Thorough and accurate, with keen attention to detail and takes ownership of their work.

Our hybrid work model
